“Like having coffee with a friend”

Therapy with me is like getting coffee with a friend—if your friend had some serious training in mental health and wasn’t afraid to gently challenge you when needed.

I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults dealing with anxiety, burnout, depression, disordered eating, family dynamics, and life transitions. My therapy style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. You’re in the driver’s seat—I’m here to offer insight, tools, and support as you do the work that creates real change.

Using CBT and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients better understand their patterns, manage stress, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic. Sessions are relaxed, compassionate, and sometimes sprinkled with sarcasm—because healing doesn’t have to be stiff or stuffy.

“I don’t know what to do”

“I don’t have anyone”

On Annie’s daily commute to work, she commonly found herself zoning out and crying. She felt beaten down by a boss she did not agree with and exhausted by giving so much at work that she had nothing left for herself at home. The only escape she had, sleep, was even giving her trouble.
One day she decided she had enough and didn’t want to keep living this way, so she sought out a therapist. She worked hard in therapy with Kate to open up and implement the changes and coping skills Kate gave her. Now Annie has a new job, sees her friends often, and is taking good care of herself.
